Developing businesses to their full potential can require anything from a several £100,0000  strip out and re-design of spaces to some simple changes to the interior and some major changes to the product and people which may only cost a few thousand. In many, many cases successful businesses have been borne out of quite low cost physical changes to the interior but bigger changes in the staff and product delivered. Our most successful development cost no more than £10,000 but resulted in revenue growing from £200,000 per annum to over a £1million because essentially the place was right to start with.

However before the fun can begin the business owner needs to have a clear idea of what style of product he or she wants to offer. Then the owner needs to be confident there is a demand or at the very least a demand for a product can be created. (The market doesn’t always know what it wants if it hasn’t bought it before).

We have seen many, many makeovers of quite cosy country Pubs which have been turned into up right leather seated bistros with bright lights, naïve staff, and a real sense of try to hard. A few customers go for a few weeks but often don’t return because they don’t feel comfortable.
